Mets blow their lead and lose to LAD

Victor Diaz hit two homers for the Mets on Friday

Dodgers 7, Mets 6:

The New York Mets are wondering how in the world they blew their lead in a blink of the eye. If there was one guy you had to choose who contributed well, it would surely be Victor Diaz, coming back from AAA and smashing two homers. Floyd only had one hit, but that still is good enough, since he was hit in the leg with a pitch on Thursday, causing him to limp during the game on Friday. Reyes finally picked up his first hit in awhile, and stole a base while he was at it. At least David Wright did his job with three hits. Piazza went hitless, playing in his old team’s stadium, where he hit his first major league home run. The fans booed him every chance they got. Actually, you could probably say that they booed him like the Houston Astros fans booed Beltran. Speaking of Beltran, he should be back after the weekend….NOT Cameron, thats for sure. He might not see any play for the rest of the season, as he had surgery yesterday on his face.
