2007-08 Giants NFC East Predictions
This is my NFC East season prediction:
X- Clinched Playoff Berth Y- Clinched Division Z- Clinched First Round Bye *-Clinched
Home Field Advantage
1. Y-Giants 11-5 (wins tiebreaker based on record within division)
2. X-Cowboys 11-5
3. Redskins 9-7
4. Eagles 7-9
I feel that these Giants are much like the 2000 Giants that went on to the super bowl. After a 3-2 start, Big blue lost only two more games in 2000. They went on to be 12-4 and had home field advantage. I don’t believe this team will be able to get home field advantage, but still will get a home game, anyway. I feel that the Cowboys will go 5-5 from here on out.
The easy schedule for the Giants should help them gain ground in the NFC, and even more important, gain confidence. A team that has a better record has better confidence, leading to more victories.
